The mesh on the side is similar to the Air Jordan 4 and offers better perforations while adding to the look. Another prominent feature is the 3M reflective tongue and the number 23 on the side. However, in some Nike Air Jordan 5 Retro retro releases, this detail has been replaced with "Nike Air" branding to pay homage to the original design. The silhouette has been released in various iconic colourways over the years, including the "Metallic", "Grape", and "Fire Red" iterations.
